There’s nothing worse after you’re done stitching and you realize your bottom weft slipped and you didn’t even stitch it!!

The way I pin helps ensure your bottom weft isn’t going ANYWHERE!

I place one pin right above my bead and another pin right below it.

These pins STAY there and don’t get touched.

Once I start placing my top wefts to my foundation, I add new clips to secure those wefts while the first two clips are supporting the bottom wefts.

I can continue to add top wefts while only replacing the last clips I just added.

❣️If you are not utilizing the dropped bead method, you will place your two support clips BELOW each bead and your top row clips will go above the beads!

When I heard we were looking back 10 years, I thought oh that’s not that far.

Scrolled all the way back to 2016 and WOW, this feels like a lifetime ago!

Even blocked out some parts of the year, yes I was married and divorced before 30 😂

Looking back k I would say this was the year my career CATAPULTED!

I found my passion in being an educator 🥹

2016 was the start of Samon starting to put Samon first.

This little experience surprised me. I’m glad I traveled back to 2016 Samon.

She seems like she had everything sooooo together, and I’m here to call her out, holy shit, not she did not! 🤣

To be honest, 2025 felt like the longest year of my life.

That’s not a bad thing!

While there’s memories and reason I would want that year to be over already,

There was more good than there was bad.

And I’ve always been one to alchemize the bad into good.

Looking back in my year and seeing all the goals I CRUSHED, amazing opportunities, relationships that flourished.

2025 was hard in a way for me mainly because it really made me sit with who I am.

What I’m willing to tolerate.

Learning who deserves my energy, and who understands my energy.

Confronting my shadows and shining a light on them.

Stepping into my POWER. And I JUST stepped in so watch out 2026

I’ve learned to heal my body from the inside out. Physically and mentally.

In 2026 and on I have clarity, knowledge, and the passion is always growing.

I cannot wait to continue this Affair with you 😘

Communication is key during consults.

We all may visualize the same thing but all of our visions will look slightly different.

Lately I’ve been having clients come in and be embarrassed that they brought in an inspiration picture.

It’s my industry as a whole who made her feel that way.

And this helped me create a look that was curated just for her, not another copy.

My blonde babe said it was time for a change so I gave her what she wanted. 😘

Over the past year she’s been trying out the lived in blonde and it worked so well for her.

My girls an extremely successful real estate agent and that career can come with a little stress so she’s been seeing a little more greys.

Crazy enough, she barely has any greys 😍 but the ones she sees are not idea for her! And I don’t blame her!

So we are working our way twords adding more blonde up to her root.

With how much depth she had previously, I told her we will keep gradually adding more blonde.

For this date, we both agreed to keep it lived in and bring the blonde up higher.

For our next date we will start focusing on scalp foils to get her to her goal blonde up to her roots!

Knowing our goal is to be blonder and it was new hair day, I decided to only add a baby root to her extensions so they can grow with her haircolor journey.

My date didn’t need to explain much.

Well, do what ever you want!

But let me tell you why I love my small needles.

I always get asked how my installs look so clean, it’s the needles baby!

The smaller the needle, the closer to the seams you can get.

The further from the seam your needle is, the higher the chance to create over direction with the weft hair.

When your large needle enters and ends up so far away from the seam you lose control over where your thread will lie and what it will pick up.

I personally use 2” needles and I make sure they are a complete half circle.

Not only does size matter, but we like these babies CURVY!

Most needles you have access to are only slightly CURVED.
Not a complete half circle.

When your needle is curved in all the right places, it allows the needle to rock out immediately.

With slightly curved needles the tip is the straightest and the middle of the needle is the curviest.

But it’s the tip of the needle that needs to be curved, not straight.

This will allow your needle to enter right at the seam and come out right at the seam like you see in my video!

K-tips were the safest option because her hair has become more delicate. I customized the weight of each bond so it supported her hair instead of stressing it.

Matching her natural wave as well so she can still air-dry with ease.

Looping can happen but don't fret, it's an easy fix!

This may not seem like a big issue but,

Before I knew how to truly make customized keratin bonds I was “customizing” factory bonds by just cutting them down.

I would cut the keratin shorter in length and then cut 1 factory bond into 3-4 “baby bonds”

So many people do this with no issues, me…ISSUES.

My clientele is mainly high risk/ low density clients, meaning they need very light weight bonds.

The issue with just cutting a factory bond down is the ratio of keratin to hair.

A factory bond is created with the right amount of keratin for a 1g bond…not a .3g bond.

When you cut the bond down and the smaller you do it, the ratio is off.

This is why my bonds were slipping out so easily, not enough keratin and too much hair.

Once I started truly customizing my bonds specially for my clients density, my clients loose 0-3 bonds in a 3 month period.

What all goes into your keratin bond appointment?

Before anything, I create a custom set of hair specially made to match your natural hair.
This process can take anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the blend, grams and coloring.

Before we apply, I need squeaky clean hair so we will give you an amazing shampoo experience.

After your blow out is the install! This can be anywhere from 3-6 hours!

During your install we will take a@all breaks though-out our date. As much as you need a stretch break, I do too. Doing an install for 6 hours straight can be alot on my body and mind.

I’ve found it super important to take small breaks to prevent fatigue.

During your date I do everything I can to make your visit comfortable.
